Its polymer formula forms a three-dimensional molecular structure that surrounds the insects and immobilises them, eliminating them by suffocation. It leaves no stains and is odourless. It is a concentrate for dilution in water – a 1.5% solution is used against poultry red mite. It is not a biocidal product: it contains no active substance within the meaning of the biocidal products regulation. The product effectively controls poultry red mite, scaly leg mite, darkling beetles, flies, mosquitoes, cockroaches, bed bugs and other flying and crawling insects. It can be used in the presence of birds and eggs and requires no withdrawal period and no re-entry interval, which makes treatments easier on poultry farms and in livestock buildings. DIPTRON BIOPOLYMER is used on farms, poultry farms, livestock buildings, warehouses and industrial buildings – wherever insects have to be controlled without insecticides.

A physically acting concentrate for dilution in water – against poultry red mite, prepare a 1.5% solution (150 ml of product per 10 l of water).

  • Apply as a fine-droplet spray directly onto the insects and onto the surfaces and places where they live: litter, walls, poultry house and farm structures, perches and cracks
  • Thorough coverage of the insects with the spray liquid is the key to effectiveness

  • When controlling poultry red mite, repeat the spraying in line with the monitoring cycle to reach successive generations of the pest
