Before treatment
Survey the infested area to identify the rodent species, where they are active, and the cause and scale of the infestation. Do not clean the area immediately before treatment — this can scare rodents off and reduce bait uptake.
Baiting
Place the bait in bait stations using a dispenser, near rodent runs, nesting and feeding sites, holes and burrows. Fix the stations to the ground. Secure the bait so it cannot be dragged out of the station.
Checks
Replenish eaten bait until the population is completely eliminated. If the bait is still being taken after 35 days and rodent activity is not decreasing, find out why.
Reducing dust
Use a damp cloth to reduce dust when laying out the bait.
Storage
Store at 5 to 25°C in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from heat sources, direct sunlight and sources of ignition. Keep away from oxidising agents and strongly acidic or alkaline substances. Do not smoke. Keep unauthorised persons away. Once opened, close containers carefully again and store them upright to prevent spillage.
