For intensive rodent control in heavy infestations. 100% mortality after a single feed. The standard concentration of bromadiolone in rodenticides is 29ppm. Diptron Bromadiolone Grain 50ppm contains bromadiolone at 50ppm — almost twice as much active substance as the standard version. The higher concentration answers situations that call for intensive control: large rodent populations, persistent infestations that do not clear up with rodenticides at the standard concentration, and populations with increased tolerance to anticoagulants. A higher bromadiolone concentration means the lethal dose is reached faster — even when the rodent eats less bait.

Key features
  • Bromadiolone 50ppm — higher concentration — almost twice the concentration of active substance compared with standard bromadiolone rodenticides (0.0029%). The lethal dose is reached faster, even when less bait is eaten.
  • 100% mortality after a single feed — a second-generation anticoagulant effective after a single dose. It disrupts vitamin K synthesis, causing delayed internal bleeding.
  • Effective against resistant rodents — bromadiolone overcomes resistance in populations insensitive to first-generation rodenticides. The higher concentration increases effectiveness against populations with increased tolerance.
  • Intensive control — ideal for fast rodent control in heavy infestations, where standard concentrations may not be enough.
  • Cereal base — wheat — rodent food, detected from a long distance thanks to the palatable ingredients in the formulation. High uptake even when other food is available.
  • Sachets of 25 g — loose grain in sachets that make dosing and placing in bait stations easier.
  • Bitter-tasting substance (Bitrex) — prevents accidental ingestion by people and pets. Rodents cannot taste the bitterness.
  • Ready to use — supplied ready to lay out. No preparation or mixing needed.
  • Wide range of uses — approved for use inside and around buildings, in open outdoor areas and at waste dumps.

Before treatment

Survey the infested area to identify the rodent species, where they are active, and the cause and scale of the infestation. Do not clean the area immediately before treatment.

Baiting

Place the bait in bait stations using a dispenser, near rodent runs, nesting and feeding sites, holes and burrows. Fix the stations to the ground. Secure the bait so it cannot be dragged out.

Checks

Replenish eaten bait until the population is completely eliminated. If the bait is still being taken after 35 days and rodent activity is not decreasing, find out why.

Reducing dust

Use a damp cloth when laying out the bait.

Storage

Store at 5 to 25°C in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from heat sources, direct sunlight and sources of ignition. Keep away from oxidising agents and strongly acidic or alkaline substances. Do not smoke. Keep unauthorised persons away. Once opened, close containers carefully again and store them upright.
