A second-generation anticoagulant that gives 100% mortality after a single feed. For use in bait stations inside buildings, around buildings, in open areas and at waste dumps. In rodent control, palatability is key — the rodent has to choose the bait over the other food available. Fresh bait (paste) is the most palatable form: its soft, moist texture and strong aroma attract rodents from a long distance. Where rodents have access to dry food — warehouses, production halls, catering premises — fresh bait offers an appealing alternative that dry grain or a hard wax block cannot. Diptron Bromadiolone paste 29ppm combines this appeal with the strength of bromadiolone — a second-generation anticoagulant with proven 100% effectiveness.

Key features
  • Bromadiolone 29ppm — a second-generation anticoagulant — an active substance effective after a single dose. It disrupts vitamin K synthesis, causing delayed internal bleeding. Rodents die far from where they took the bait, so the rest of the colony does not associate it with danger and keeps feeding.
  • 100% mortality after a single feed — proven to eliminate rodents after just one dose, which shortens treatment time.
  • Effective against resistant rodents — bromadiolone overcomes resistance in populations insensitive to first-generation rodenticides (warfarin, chlorophacinone, coumatetralyl).
  • Fresh bait — the most palatable form — its soft, moist texture and strong aroma attract rodents from a long distance. Palatable ingredients in the formulation ensure ready uptake even when other food is available.
  • Bitter-tasting substance (Bitrex) — prevents accidental ingestion by people and pets. Rodents cannot detect the bitterness.
  • Red colour — sets the bait apart from food and makes baiting points easy to identify and check.

Station layout

Place bait stations 5–10 metres apart, near burrows and where rodents are most active.

Monitoring

Monitor the infested area. Replenish eaten bait. Replace bait that is water-damaged or contaminated.

Protection

Place the bait in damage-resistant bait stations, protected from the weather, from consumption by non-target species and from spreading into the environment. Place stations out of the reach of children, birds, pets and farm animals.

Storage

Store at 5 to 25°C in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from heat sources, direct sunlight and sources of ignition. Keep away from oxidising agents and strong acids and alkalis. Do not smoke. Store where unauthorised persons cannot reach it. Once opened, close the packaging and store it upright.
